About Curt

Public Service - Mayor

Curt entered public service when he was elected Mayor of his hometown, Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania in 1977. He served as Mayor of Marcus Hook Borough in Pennsylvania from 1977 - 1982. He was elected twice, on both Democrat and Republican tickets.

Curt ran his mayoral campaign focusing on the need for economic re-birth in the poor community. Once elected, Curt embarked on a mission to oust the Pagan Motorcycle gang which had established headquarters in Marcus Hook. Working with the community and law enforcement, the effort paid off and drove the Pagans out of town. Curt formed the Marcus Hook Community Development Corporation to formally represent the town to Delaware County government for consideration in State and Federal investment and to lure business.

Curt has been honored by Marcus Hook a number of times as a hometown hero.
